Weekly Reward Limits for new Raid Series

Am I the only one who's tired of this? Especially when it comes to the new Raid Tiers? One reward per floor?

You need 2 Helmets, 4 armor, 4 pants, 2 legs, and 2 foot wear, not to mention 4 rings to get a full set of the new raid gear stuff.

And if you're a completionist, that takes weeks to get everything you need, IF you're lucky to roll on what you need and someone else doesn't win the roll.
Multiply that by 21, and OH BOY that's a long time to get everything.

Honestly, I can understand the Tomestone one being limited cause that is the highest available, but the raid ones just feel... like they are forcing you to play longer to get what you need, even after being told 'if you need a break take one and play something else'. You can't cause if you miss one week that's 4 pieces you needed so now you're behind.

It makes sense for a few weeks but it remains for far longer than it's relevant for.

Yes, that's exactly what it is and it's nothing but that.
Same with housing.
It all really is just meant to make sure SEs numbers look good to their shareholders at this point.

I had this exact same topic in a different thread regarding the Mayakov set and how it was ridiculous to have to get a single piece per week, and I wrote that thread ages after the 7.3 update had already been out. This is just the same old thing and it'll be the same old thing at every release until SE realizes it's stupid and does nothing but frustrate people. There's new content, new glams, new rewards ... just let us play to get them already :/

The game markets itself as friendly to someone who wants to play multiple jobs but it's so hard or expensive to gear a single job

The lockout makes no sense in my opinion. "You can only get one piece of 770 a week." but you can get a full 770 crafted set day 1... like... why?

Fun idea: Let people who play ONLY normal raids upgrade the pieces via weekly stuff instead. Maybe not all the way to savage level but somewhere in between. Maybe 5 item levels below savage? That way those who WANT to gear still can through normal raids and normal raids remain a good source of gearing every week. It'd keep the content alive longer too. Idk, seems fun to me.

Edit: About the 5 item levels below savage it could even be in increments of 5. So like: 770 > 775 > 780 > 785. That way its a long but steady goal for casuals and doesn't invalidate the progress of slowly getting better and better gear in savage.

The normal raid is ilvl 770. I'm already full 770 on 2 jobs. The raid gear is just some glam gear for the most part.

Craft your gear or get a buddy to. I craft anything for FC mates and friends as long as they supply me the tome mats.
