You know what I would enjoy...

I really would enjoy some mini games. I know I know.. the "Golden Saucer" like thing we are getting in 2.0 but that's not exactly what I mean.

I would really just a kick out of something silly to do from time to time.
Maybe a random event where a caravan comes into town and they have little gil sinks to play. Something simple nothing too deep.

With 2.0 coming out so soon I just really want to see what we'll have to do just to pass the time.

The Caravan would be random it would never show up in all the towns at once. Or show up at all the towns at all.

As a gil sink you should be able to reap small vanity rewards such as hats and little costumes.

why not gambling using /random?

But that's not as fun. I want to do something like ring toss. xD I don't know. But something. Not like lame gambling tables or anything.

Parley against a boss monster. If you win you get the 5th chest ^^

Parley is nothing "fun" nor a useful gil/time sink.
I guess an example if I where to use other games as examples would be like in WoW the plants vs zombies mini game.
Or XI summer event goldfish scooping.
