Fill up the Fish Guide properly for Big Fish once caught

The fish guide still doesn't display any additional info about Bait, Restrictions, Hookset and Conditions when it comes to Big Fish.
I've already caught the dang thing, so give me the info instead of the whole ??? spam.

Even then, the precise information for regular fish is sparse.

This fish has a weather condition? Yes.
And nothing else.

I'd like to have the proper intel in-game, because for a "Guide", it feels like I'm being given barely a map.

This has been asked about for years, and while it makes sense, it goes against what the design pillar of fishing is.
Fishing has always been designed to be a slower job that requires you to work with other fishers to determine these conditions as a community. Having just 1 person catch the fish and then suddenly everyone knows the precise conditions, would be detrimental to that. The devs have seemingly decided to preserve that aspect of the job for nearly 10 years now, so it remains unchanged.

I hadn't considered the community aspect as I solo fish, so I'll admit that the Discovery phase is one I did not care for. If the other Fishers care for it then I would like to not see it disturbed.

That said, once said phase is over, once we are one entire expansion later, why is it still not updated? For context, I was trying to get the Warden of the Seven Hues the other day. That fish's conditions are still an in-game mystery years later, as are its intuition fishes. The Guide doesn't update save for adding new fishes. Why do I need to open up a browser tab for the information I would like to have available within the game I am playing?

Adding the Guide says to me that they want Big Fishing to be akin to a collecth-a-thon, which is fine, but then do nothing to make rethreading old grounds easier once you have already collected the fish.

To add some final thoughts, what the Devs want isn't always necessarily the best for the game. The Housing Wards system is proof enough of that to me (instanced should've been a thing years ago at this point). You can't leave everything up to the community without it seeming like you simply don't care enough, as a Dev you have to participate as well by updating the systems you add instead of leaving them to rot.

One expansion later, maybe. Consider also that if the text were to be in the client in any form then players could datamine it.

Secrets are fun! There are S-ranks in this game that require silly conditions to spawn such as: specific minion usage, or discarding items, or using BLU self-destruct.
