Nails as character creator and aesthetician options

Nails should be added to the character creator and aesthetician options and removed from all existing gloves that have them. We should be able to choose the color, as well as the shape. Shapes (and possibly future nails with patterns) could be collected in the same way that we collect hairstyles or facewear.

The reason for this suggestion is that most nail types outside of the basic one are part of a glove piece and those nails are usually "pasted" on top of our normal ones, which can make some angles look strange, particularly in character portraits. There's also times in which said nails cannot be dyed in a specific piece.

By decoupling nails from all existing glove pieces that have them and making them their own CC setting, the amount of options would greatly increase by allowing more combinations. If some players still prefer having the fake nails on top of the normal ones, then there could be a toggle to activate it. This change could allow them to introduce nail colors and shapes for the toes, as well.

Finally, nails, haircuts, and other aesthetician options should be able to be linked to glamour plates.

To anyone reading, is there anything related to nails or broader character creator and aesthetician options that you'd like to see added or changed?

This has been suggested and heavily supported by the people. Lets hope SE still continues to invest in Character customization options. arguably one of the most important aspects of the game. The mobile version has new faces we don't have access to as well.

A heavily revamped CC with a glamour catalogue and plates would be the ultimate upgrade...

Its possible for them to make the nails have their own customization option, and I think it should at this point since I know a lot of people would like this. Realistically they could just add a false nails model and false toenails model attached to the base mesh of the character and make it show up on gears that expose the fingers or toes and then have it linked to the character creator where you can choose color.

Really they need to overhaul the entire character creator and add a bunch of new options to each race, like skin texture, tattoos, beards, age slider, freckles and so on. I'd rather them do this than add a new race.

Yes. Though first of all they should fix the handgear. They did the feet and I've been waiting.. We have various degrees of sausages, with only a few having clean fingers. On auri the scales seem to warp differently depending as well.

Very much want this.
A setting in the glam dresser to add shape and color rather than adding more slots to the character sheets maybe.
And ofcourse the aesthetican is a good option too.
Probably a better one that glam dresser really.

Please please please. I want my Hrothgar and Au Ra to have claws. I know it's a me problem but I've been restricting myself to wearing gloves that have nails/claws built in because they look weird and bare to me when they don't!
