Request for Better Placement and Visibility of Earrings

We often receive earrings as rewards, and I really love them! However, as an Au Ra, it’s often difficult to actually see them due to their current placement
and the horns. For Miqo’te and Viera, earrings are also frequently not visible. In particular, for Au Ra Female Face 2, earrings are barely visible, or completely hidden with
most good hairstyles.

Short version:

Please adjust the placement of earrings and visibility of ears,
so that they remain visible in most situations. :)



More detailed explanation:

For Miqo’te and Viera, earrings are attached to their animal ears, so hairstyle doesn’t matter. But for Au Ra, earrings are placed at the sides of the head where
normal human ears would be, rather than being attached to the horns. As a result, for Au Ra Female Face 2, most earrings are almost always hidden by most hair.
For example, the stylish new earrings from the Deep Dungeon are barely visible on this face type.

For Viera, earrings should remain visible whenever the ears are visible. Currently, they disappear when wearing a hat, even if the ears themselves are still shown.
For Miqo’te, it would be great if hats didn’t clip or hide their ears as often. In the past, hats used to allow the ears (and earrings) to remain visible.

Since earrings are such a common reward, it would be wonderful if their visibility could be improved so they can actually be enjoyed. For example, for Au Ra, earrings
could be placed on the outer part of the horns rather than where the horns meet the head, since that area is almost always hidden.

I completely understand that there will always be certain hairstyles or situations where earrings can’t be visible. But at the moment, there are far too many cases where they
are completely invisible, especially for certain races and faces.
It would be wonderful if this could be reviewed and improved, so that earrings can actually be enjoyed and appreciated when they’re worn.

For example, in this case, it would be better if the earrings were placed more toward the outside of the horns. Or make a toggle between inside and ouside, so that the player
can decide, where it suits better for their character. :)

This is such an obvious improvement and long overdue, probably at a fraction of the cost of giving hats to viera too.

This is a very silly question but what is that hairstyle and where do I get it?

I've wanted for years for the option to toggle earrings so badly - the femroe hair I've used forever (see: almost a decade now after swapping from what I started with) on my character has a block of hair that hides all earrings that are on the left ear.

Guess which ear 98% of single or asymetrical earring designs has the main earring? :) Drives me batty.

The placement of earrings on viera ears is baffling to me - there's a wide/fluffy ear shape option that just makes most earrings invisible because they have them so far down the ear (whereas they should be higher on the ear outside of the inner fluff density they have toward the base) and they shove them weirdly 1/4 of the way up from that megafluff. The fact they won't set earrings on the au ra horns in a place that isn't janky as hell despite adamantly refusing to decouple faces/horns is a problem too.

tl;dr yes please to all of the above. Give us more toggles.

(They won't, they can't even fix the face meshes, eyes, and normal maps on charas since the gfx "update" and I've dealt with hands floating high off of mounts for literal years, but for crying out loud... multi-billion dollar company.)

Not even sure why Au Ra's even have earrings with no ears. They should add an option to have ears with smaller horns.
