A-Raid Roulette Issues

First time poster but I'm really irritated about this. I know they adjusted the A-raid queue to make up for I level but I feel as though there are people who just don't unlock the later a-raids and make it so that we all end up getting the CT series over and over and over and I'm tired of it.

I have come up with 2 solutions for this which I think would both need to implemented to fully solve this:

1) Add the crystal tower series of a-raids to MSQ roulette. They are part of the MSQ and required before finishing ARR now and might as well be thrown into the mix. It would also be the "preferred" option in this category.

The issue with only having option one is that people would then default to only doing the Heavensward Raid series, so the prevent this from happening again:

2) Do not allow players to use A-raid roulette if they have not completed the A-raid series for the previous expansion. It should be fairly easy to implement this as its just checking for achievements since they give one after each expansion as well as once you complete an A-raid. Lock people out of forcing others to spam the same stuff every day.

I know there are new players and I'm excited for them to get to experience the game but getting CT 90% of the time I queue for an A-raid make it feel like less of a roulette and more of a crystal tower queue.

I second this. I'm an avid dungeon crawler and roullette queuer and I'm tired of getting CT raids as frequently as I do. Its gotten to the point where I'm noticing more and more players taking the penalty and immediately leaving so they don't have to deal with it. I've done this as well.

My bad I was just trying to level my Black Mage, multiple CT raids where I'm the only level 50 LOL

It’s actually messing up the balance of the relic step

Since crystal tower gives so little aether and it’s so overwhelmingly common it just leads to everyone’s “alliance well” being way behind every other one since most are designed for about 7-800 per day but the CT raids only give like 400 even with the bonus

+1 for moving CT to MSQ roulette. If only because I think it would make AR roulette more fun. I think two of the three duties in MSQ roulette are also 17 minutes, so this should be fine?

I also think the The Aetherochemical Research Facility should be moved from High Level to MSQ as well. So many reasons: no chests, 4 bosses, "17 minutes", and "big MSQ moment in the cutscene". It's practically the Praetorium.

Yeah, it's annoying that AR Roulette is really just CT Roulette.

ARs are so much fun, just not when it's CT!

Been like this for a decade. Too little, too late.

My solution is once you're level 60, you need Void Ark unlocked to queue for A-roulette. Once you're level 70, you need Rabanastre unlocked. Once you're level 80, you need Copied Factory etc..
