Beastmaster level 1

As a veteran from FFXI who played main BST Started FFXIV 2.0 and have been waiting for this job to appear in 14 for years.
Please start the job at level 1 and create some relative content for the original zones!
It would be so much more fun to play this job from scratch! Please Dev team make those areas alive again for us that have not had a reason to revisit them in a long time.

You're in the wrong section of the forum, since this is related more to the lore of the game, rather than the gameplay, jobs, requests, etc...

That being said, it's almost guaranteed to follow the footsteps of Blue Mage, whom has started from scratch at lv1 due to having a separate leveling system (and cap)

As Kranel said, it's a limited job with a separate leveling system, so it will almost certainly start at level one and cap at level 90, with Blue Mage.

I'm looking forward to Beastmaster, too, and I hope they do it justice. I love scavenger hunts, so I'm looking forward to going around and hunting down monsters to capture.

Also, a whole-hearted "yes, I agree" to the plea to find a way to make previous areas alive again to encourage revisiting them (apart from the standard things like looking for maps or grinding relic weapons).

It likely will start from level 1, but don't fool yourself into thinking it's going to be anywhere near FFXI's version of bst. Look how they took the perfection of the job that was FFXI's blu and instead of trying to add to what made that so great instead decided to go the route of making it into a silly circus act that only has 1 piece of content. Cause everything in this games needs to be super cute and silly for reasons.

I was gonna say you want a more gameplay related section, but now that i look at it, there really ISN'T anywhere specifically meant for discussing gameplay related stuff on the forums in that vein, is there?
