I cannot wait for dat full TP

Seriously. I was doing caravan as a bard earlier with like 5 blms. Dont know why I bothered trying. After a while I just gave up and resigned myself to being a ballad bitch. I was lucky to get off one light shot, much less build tp to actually use a skill.

The best thing that happened was half our party dcing one run. Then I got to shine :cool:

Use barrage. Also, quelling strike gives tp. Can also do BV paeon to keep getting tp for 3 minutes.

BV paeon is not a bad idea...except mages need ballad. And Caravan isnt the sort of thing where you actually space. Its just a clusterfuck of ppl and mobs lol.

Quelling strike and barrage require me using a light shot successfully, which does not happen very often. I already use barrage, but usually that occurs because wave 1 died before getting off the light shot, and barrage was still up by the time wave 2 came along. And honestly, the mob is usually on the cusp of death anyways.

And even when I do get full tp, executing a full combo is impossible outside of like the final wave. And even then the mobs are practically dead anyways.

Seriously when it was down to one blm and me...I got to have some real fun. Wide volleys and Rain of deaths galore. But the whole "start at 0 tp" thing is actually pretty terribad. And its really noticeable when you're stacked with blms. Also I find it stupid that Paeon doesn't regen out of combat without battle voice. What were they thinking.

BLM probably don't need ballad cause half the time it's waiting for mobs to pop haha. Also, use hawk's eye with barrage. and you can always give mage's ballad first then go a distance and give yourself paeon. When I played BRD in caravan I had no trouble getting off TP moves. Take advantage of level 10 mobs around you and kill them for TP. DRG is more fun in caravan than BRD IMO though.

I think our party make-up might have been a bit different. It's no exaggeration when I said I had 5 blms. 5 blms aoe'ing at the same time on one mob group doesn't leave much time. And I dont need hawk's eye because barrage isn't missing lol. It's just things die too fast from the massive amounts of blm aoes. And all the downtime kills my tp, while it raises their mp.

Lux is pretty much right i wont do caravan as anything other than blm/whm, if i dont i don't do anything but stand there.

I could use my BLM that has 418 INT but I prefer a challenge/to have fun. Or maybe I'm just masochistic. It definitely does require alot more work though to use BRD or DRG effectively.

The one thing I'm looking forward to in 2.0 is not stacking just one class (hopefully) because of the varying limit breaks and their effects and also the effectiveness of fine play to build up the gauge based on whatever actions or jobs.

Also the possability of putting some WS enfeebles on at the start of a fight went way up with this upcoming change.

Stun/Heavy/Bind needed before the enemy gets to the chocobos, to use your subject, Delivered!

Legsweep when they spawned on the Caravan? No need to have saved up TP as much as possble, its 1 WS combo started away!

It certainly will help Melee alot more when you have to worry abit less about holding onto the TP thats fading fast for X skill or Y combo when its really needed. BLM will likely still have damn good damage and ranged attacks to help it out. But melee and BRD look to get a big helping hand in being more versitile contributers.
