More immersive wind noise while flying

Hii,

I was watching a video of Rinon talking about the Ungarmax bug and how the issue was reported as a bug and ignored for a while.

So, since I have reported a bug which got ignored (on the german board: https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...Gebietswechsel) I decided why not talking about it here?

I decided against another bug report back then, because I didn't wanted to get into trouble with the mods for what they would assume would be spamming, and honestly, I also didn't want them to remove the bug outright, because it is just so much fun flying around on my broom stick with the wind in the hair...


Okay, here is the deal:

There is a much more immersive, stronger wind noise in the game while flying. You can trigger it by skipping the "being on the ground part", that means:

1: You summon your mount, get into the air and fly across the border to another map (the blue, dotted line), when you enter the next map, while already in the air, you will now have the more immersive wind noise while flying.

2: You swim on the water surface and summon a mount. Now you are already flying and have the more immersive wind noise als well.

3: Passengers in a multi-seater mount always have the more immersive wind noise while flying.


It's obviously not finished, because the wind noise is fading out awkwardly when you stop. But other than that I love it and want to keep it.

I want it to become the standard sound while flying.

So why not gathering a bit of feedback here what other people think about the sound?

Of course there should be an option in the settings to change between the old and new sound.
