Linkshell for like minded players

I’m not really expecting a lot of feedback on this, considering this part of the forum seems pretty dead, but here goes …

Way back when I was looking to move from Balmung (where I ended up during / after 1.0) to a European server. One of the reasons I picked Phoenix at the time, was because Phoenix had a nice linkshell with people who enjoyed helping others with various types of content. People were friendly and patient, and wouldn't immediately blame everyone but themselves when something went wrong in a dungeon.

Obviously, since then a lot of features have been implemented that made finding a party to do content a lot easier, but I always felt the parties created through the linkshell were more fun, and since everyone was on the same server. It was also easier to make new friends, since even the "randoms" were on the same server.

So, I was wondering, is there still such a linkshell around, and if not, would there be any interest in such a linkshell? There would be no obligations or mandatory attendance and all that, just a casual group of people where it’s easy to ask for some help for things like dungeons (including slow runs for sprouts), raids, trials, mount farms, maps, deep dungeons, older content that’s generally forgotten about, and pretty much anything else.

Of course, FCs like this exist, but it seems a LOT of FCs both big and small don't have a lot of active members in-game at any given time.
