7.x pacing appreciation

I am extremely happy that since 7.0 even Hildibrand quest sometimes has a system that I had seen before in previous expansions but not used as frequently and I truly want to express my appreciation to this quality of life.

What I talk about is that we get instantly teleported to the next place to continue in a fluid, smooth pace and not left behind by the group to get there by ourselves.

Sometimes I understand it is to give players the leverage to do side stuff or quickly run up to other things. But personally when I do MSQ I want to be coming along the group and be part of the expedition rather than see them walk off and I have to take a long time to get there. It breaks immersion sometimes. Since there is often complaints, I wished to add my 2 cents of appreciation that the pacing feels better since 7.0 and I hope this trend grows as it comes.

I actually hated the pacing. Felt like watching a movie instead of playing a game.

I mean, I supposed its ok for a visual novel

Oh do not misunderstand, this is NOT about the pacing of the STORY (this is why I included Hildibrand as example) They have to work on that!!!!!
This is about, for example "Let's go to this location to check up on people!" and everyone (including you as player) gets teleported to the area instantly.

It's like with visual novels. If I was interested in the story, I wouldn't care. If the cutscenes are enjoyable, they're a treat. If they're not enjoyable, it's a fookin' slog.
