Free the grippers

I would like the devs to give us the option to remove the default sandals from our player models when nothing is equipped or when we are wearing the emperor's new boots. I can see this being achieved either through a setting or by adding a new footgear glam.
It would also be nice if we had a painted toenails glam similar to false nails for consistency. I personally can't use any fingernails glams together with open-toed footwear because I dont like the inconsistency. The feet look much better in the game thanks to the 7.0 graphics update so I feel like this is something they should consider and hope that they can explore adding barefoot glams in the future.

The thread title gave me a giggle lol I agree. Fun fact! Some NPCs are actually barefoot! But they've got awkward Barbie-feet, for some reason. We already have some flat feet models (I think Moonfire Sandals?) so they could literally just remove the sandal and let us walk around barefoot. I find it silly to go swimming wearing sandals.

I've always found it weird that we have built-in sandals. I'm even more surprised that there isn't even some sort of cosmetic loophole in the 11 years I've been gone. At the Moonfire Faire it just felt weird to jump into the pool with sandals on. ;P
