Adjustments for healers
And again we were presented with a patch full of nothings.
The adjustments were:- Some AoE heals gained some more range (5 more yalms to be precise)
- Filler spells from SCH and SGE gained a whole 10 potency
- WHM ganed a whole 5 unities of potency on its DoT
- No potency adjustment were made for AST
And that's it. Healers, as bad as they are, almost untouched in 7.3. And the biggest change in healing at 7.3 is the change on Phoenix Down.

The AoE thing is actually big, because it's so weird. Did people really dislike having to care for their half of the party so much in M8S?

Medica III is just a worse Helios Conjunction now that they're now the same range. The latter is a half cast and has lower mp cost but same potencies.
They really keep making WHM the baseline and can't let it have an edge in anything

That's not a useful comparison though as the classes aren't identical. It's a rather common fallacy to assume that if two numbers differ between classes, the one with the bigger one must be stronger. It only works in a vacuum, if all else is also equal. That is to say, Medica 3 < Helios Conjuction, but this does not imply this isn't the right call as otherwise WHM AoE healing would not be superior (I don't know, just to illustrate the underlying fallacy).

I thought the common fallacy was that WHM is the best healer and not inferior to Astro in every way. Comparing Medica 3 to Helios Conjunction is perfectly fair in a vacuum in my opinion. Why does Astro need a lower MP cost and faster cast time when they have 2 charges of light speed and mana from drawing cards? What about Astro's kit says they need an easier time casting that spell?
