sorry, it's too much cost to not implement inconvenience in every feature they ship live.
It's morally and ethically wrong to filter ":3" sorry :3
Sadly japanese people only do :3 with (´⊙ω⊙`)!
So no, not possible.
I'd like to see this as well so I can filter "DJ"
I support it only so we can also mute "DJ" :')
Why am I not allowed to filter "18+"? Why am I not allowed to filter phrases with spaces? Why is it case sensitive? Why can it only hold 10 filters when its saved locally? Absolutely worthless feature.
Tell me the devs have never spent more than 10 seconds in a main city without telling me the devs have never spent more than 10 seconds in a main city... I was happy about this feature, but in practice the best thing to do to avoid these is just hang out in the middle of absolute nowhere, or in a housing district.
You're talking about the same dev, who - according to some hearsay (don't @me here, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if it was a real thing) - never knew anything about the gold seller/RMT spammer in NA DC's starting city chatbox until they sees them firsthand whilst getting spammed by the same RMT lines we see nowadays when they visit one of the NA homeworlds. They were ashamed, or so have I heard.
Of course, that doesn't say anything about increasing their moderation effort... or making better term filter... or if that hearsay was even true to begin with...
