2002 error issue
Hello, issues logging into Any NA Data Center, will go to blank character selection screen with just the blue background. Then straight to error 2002, My main data center is crystal, but have tried Dynamis, Primal and Aether too with same results. However can log into EU and JP and Character selection is normal, does not crash with error 2002. Idk if anyone else is having issues with NA atm, either DDOS or what. But just wanted to report this, and if its not something going on with the server some help would be nice to resolve this. I was logged in earlier just fine, then DCed, issues with error 2002 followed the dc.

Yeah, issues started for me on Aether a little less than an hour ago, can't log into any NA Data Center either.
Also getting the Error 2002 code, and there's folks posting on r/FFXIV about these issues.

I've been having the same issues on Aether, as well. I got kicked about an hour ago, and since then the 2002 error hits, IF I make it to the character screen. The Loader is now giving me "Unable to complete version check [30410][30607][20459][10009][10019]".
When the Loader tries to reload the sign in after the version check error, it times out.

From what I can see on the FFXIV Server status website (https://is.xivup.com/) people started looking into if there were server issues/login issues around 12:40pm ET. The official server status page and ARR status page still not showing that there are any issues or partial maint or even full maint or issues. Trying to login, the launcher is slow to load and hangs when clicking "login" before putting out random errors. The first error I got was "error 10" and then I tried again and got three error codes (cannot recall the numbers as they were longer and there were like three of them). Tried on another computer as well and had the same issue. Doesn't seem server specific either as you cannot even get past the launcher to get INTO game and choose server. For clarity, I am on a PC and play through steam on the Crystal Data center - Malboro. (Hopefully some info for the techy team to help them figure out the issue).

Seems to have resolved able to log in now.
