Doesn't 103mb seem a little large to be just what was outlined in the notes? Wondering if there is something else in the patch for the back end that we won't see.

There will be most likely ninja changes but sometimes its just because rather than changing a files contents, it will be replacing it. For example the initial 5mb you get with every patch is the interface. As you can see some fixed bugs, which file or fileS these are in may have been completely replaced (rather than just edited), this is usually the case if they're encrypted at SE's end and they dont want the patcher decrypting/encrypting again so they will just force the full file onto you.
Wasn't this also a prep for a future patch?
if the patch is 103mb that doesnt mean 103mbs of changes in itself
one of the files thats been altered could have been a big one, thus needing to redownload the whole file
Anyone having issues getting the patch? Keep getting a fail msg :(
why don't you just open the file in hex editor and see what it is?
I was just checking out the size myself.. I think they are getting in the framework for some of the future changes. Architectural code changes always get implemented before anything gets built on top of them.
they added a lot of mobs and new recipes to the game
maybe a preparation for 1.17
