Stellar Mission glitch?

I just did the "Stellar Repair Materials" Stellar Mission and it required me to gather Moonlit Aethersand. None of the nodes provided Moonlit Aethersand, just lunar yellow quartz. I don't know if this is a glitch, or if I didn't pay close enough attention to the mission instructions. Help please?

Did you need to use Aetherial Reduction to get the Aethersand?

You aren't the first. It is like when you do FSH missions that require collectables, but you don't have Collector's Glove on and you can't figure out why your score is 0 when catching all these fish.
