Downtown LA Gathering Recording Release

RECORDING RELEASE

I hereby grant Square Enix, Inc. (“Company”) and its designees permission to record me—including my appearance, likeness, voice, performance, etc.—and any pre-existing materials furnished by me during, or in connection with, the downtown Los Angeles gathering following the conclusion of Anime Expo (the “Event”) via any method or technology of recording, including, but not limited to, video and audio recording, still-image recording, and any other data produced or captured in connection with the Event (the “Recordings”).

Company shall be the exclusive owner of all copyrights and other rights in and to the Recordings as of the moment of their creation. If I retain any rights in the Recordings, I hereby assign any such rights to Company. If any such rights are not assignable, I hereby grant Company an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, and fully assignable and sublicensable license to such unassignable rights or, if any such rights cannot be assigned or licensed, I hereby waive enforcement of such rights. I expressly waive and agree not to enforce any “moral rights,” such as rights of attribution and integrity, in the Recordings.

I grant Company an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, and fully assignable and sublicensable right and license to use and to authorize others to use all or part of my name, likeness, voice, and any other material captured in the Recordings, throughout the universe in any form or media, for any purpose (including commercial purposes). I am not entitled to any credits, rights, benefits, or payments in connection with the use of these Recording. I acknowledge that Company is not a signatory to any guild or collective bargaining agreements.
