Please reoptimize the party level sync option in crescent occult.
The party level sync option in Occult Crescent is a great idea for every friend to party together and experience the new content together on paper. However, there’s certain problems with the level sync functionality, specifically with the experience chain combo.
My party (of various OC levels) was trying to complete the challenge log of completing 40 exp chain. However, while we were doing the chains, we would often level up while we’re trying to reach 40. So what happens now is that the whole party level sync will change which resets the chain. This has happened twice. The first time, we attempted to chain on mobs exactly 7 levels above our sync. The second time, we did mobs 8 levels above to try to add a buffer to prevent this issue, but it happened again. Both times, an individual party member would level up which changes the sync level, which then resets and ruins the chain which takes a good 20-30 minute once you get to #30 combos.
Before someone suggests “just don’t party up with someone too far from the sync level/be thankful that you can sync in the first place”, that feels like defeating the whole point of the sync option to begin with.
