Known Issue Regarding Designation of Cosmic Exploration's Star Contributor (May 27)

We have confirmed an issue that when Star Contributors are designated, during the few milliseconds when switching between the tallying period and the non-tallying period of the Starward Standings, if a character eligible for the Star Contributor performs an action that would add to their Starward Standings, the Starward Standings status of that character would become abnormal.

As a result of this abnormal status, it would be incorrectly determined that there were no characters who had accumulated contributions on the day of the Star Contributor designation process and Loporrit would be designated.

After investigating on all Worlds, we have confirmed that only one character was affected by this issue. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

We would like to inform you of the measures that have already been taken and will be taken moving forward regarding this issue.

■Timing for Addressing This Issue
The cause of this issue has already been identified, and we are currently working on addressing and verifying it.
We expect to complete verifications within a few days and once complete, will perform a brief Several Areas Emergency Maintenance for Sinus Ardorum on all Worlds.
We will make another announcement once the schedule for the emergency maintenance has been decided.

■Data Correction and Compensation for the Affected Character
The data of the affected character was corrected during the maintenance performed today.
At present, the data is being displayed on the Starward Standings Stela as if it had been designated on the relevant day May 23, and the customer can obtain the “Star Contributor” effect.

However, considering the shortened award period from the originally planned 14 days, we are compensating a certain number of Cosmocredits and Lunar Credits as an apology. A GM will notify the affected customer individually at a later date and we kindly ask for your patience.

Also, similar to the issue we announced the other day, we are considering measures such as distributing a special item that grants the "Star Contributor" status to users as compensation for the shortened award period. We are also considering additional special measures regarding the display on the Starward Standings Stela.
As each of these will require separate development times, we are planning to address them at a later date. We will keep you updated and thank you for your patience.
