It might be a quirk due to the Brand-new Ring no longer provides a EXP bonus at L31.
You didn't state what level you Monk job is, but as you have the Soul Crystal, you are at least L30.
That said, it still provides the stats, although only the STR and VIT are useful as a Monk, so it should show up as Recommended.
