Okay im working on getting into my GC which is remarkably annoying. Having to do everything in the world first lol. Anyways first do i just need to be a recruit in the other companies to get into the one i want to or do i have to do all their missions after being a recruit as well. And also i have a mission for thousand maws and ofc you need 2 people. i dont even have a linkshell =/. Anyone mind helping me out?
Imp Devices is an optional quest and is not required for you to complete your GC quest series.

here is what must be done (depending on chosen GC) for each to complete the storyline and complete the Once in a Lifetime achievement and get the Dalamud Horn:
Twin Adder
The Maelstrom
The Immortal Flames
if that driving you nut, wait till youre doing AF
or hell, wait till you doing the final quest
though, as the final quest, its very worth the effort
