Cosmic Exploration Mech Ops FATE overlapping with Red Alert causes FATE to bug out

Steps:
1. Take part in a Red Alert
2. After completing Red Alert, a Mech Ops FATE spawns (for the two cases, it was the spongeoi one)
3. No pilot registration happens before the FATE and it is already most of the way through the timer
4. Possibly due to failing the mech ops FATE, no other mech ops spawn for a few hours

Same thing happened a few minutes ago in Brynhildr.
