Just a suggestion, it would be nice if you could join more than just 1 FC on the same character, I as for one would not mind being in 3-4 FC's for different activities as well as being able to eg. rally players for content more easy.

That's why they made linkshells (and after we could world visit, cross-world linkshells). Realistically, both linkshells and FCs usually have discords anyway so that you can be part of all of them in that way.
This would be a nice feature. Both Guild Wars 2 and Elder Scrolls Online allow membership in multiple guilds, and I see no reason why not to allow it here.
This would be nice.
2/4 members of my small friend-group FC quit the game, and I've been wanting to join another FC to find some new people to play with - but I don't want to leave my current FC, nor can I afford to lose our house and everything attached to it.
Even if it were limited to two or three FCs, that'd be fine with me.
we also got fellowships, that people seem to forget about
I would really like multiple servers to merge. It's so annoying to have a million servers and a population that is so divided.
Just make a couple of mega servers, and almost every major zone should have its own housing district.
Like for example, Ala Mhigo, Crystarium, Eulmore, Mor Dohna, Sharlyan, Rhalgr's Reach, Radz-at-han... etc. You get the point.
Probably because they cant code it. And if they could, people would 100% use it to own more fc's or be given "permission" to run more submarines in a loophole.
Or it would blow up Ishgard because of a code mixup
I think this would cause more problems overall due to the system Free Companies are tethered to. FC Buffs, airships, and submersibles just to name a few. As mentioned by others here, there's other options for player communication, gathering and events.
