Ninja
So before anyone flames me I am all for job identity and uniqueness and my ninja is only 78. That being said, as someone who plays a lot of fighting games competitively the mudras don't bother me at all....however....they just don't work with current raid design and this game in general. NIN is a great class but the mudras on top of timers make it feel garbage. More people would play this job if the mudras were changed to fit current design philosophy. Thoughts?

Oh man
I think NIN should do more with mudras and fight design shouldnt step on job design.
-
Fight design should be changed to suit a better job design system thats my thoughts.
-
it shouldn't be changed in the slightest I think ninja is somewhat one of the last job that still have a identity and like Rithy said fight should be done around a job and not the other way around.
Because when the job changed to be simple the 2 minute burst became a thing and since then jobs have been rework toward that 2 minute burst so does all fight

1) why do you think mudra’s don’t fit modern design
2) what would you even do to them to make them fit this design you don’t think they fit
-
Bro shoulda played back when mudras were ogcd's you had to weave without interuption thus clipping your gcd often. They made mudras work like dancer steps now and i think they're pretty easy unless you have lag. The lag thing is a big issue for getting bunnies

Props to admitting your NIN is only level 78 but you basically just admitted that you didn't play NIN in the current raid tier despite having the opinion that it doesn't work with the current raid design.

the last time nin was very different was when the TP system still exist, I didn't even exist back then.
Now, I can say it's the same as SHB, except 5.0, but I'm mostly fine with it, I'm not sure why you'd make a post such as this when you don't play nin at any raid tier.
It fits with almost all raid designs, I've made a detailed post on the issue it has, but it is mostly "perfect" in a way that there isn't a need for a major change, what it does lack are some qol benefits, it's very hard to identify what mudra you pressed when a lag coincidentally hits and 2 cds that should have a lower cd to mitigate forced drifting.
It can fit in m6s, it is just neglected in the aoe department cause there was no need for an intense need for priority targets to adds till now.
