S and R?

To anyone that can help or at least let me know there's nothing I can do lol..

The S and R in the corner of the screen in game is for sending and receiving right? Does that have to do with the internet connection? Because its been going red lately and says I'm sending in the 50's and then says 0 for receiving. Is it because of my connection or just because there's a lot of people logging in the area or whatnot. Its getting really annoying since when it goes red and goes to 0 I cant do anything in the game but run around.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated!

They are your send/recieve rates, yes. They effectively show how the game is doing, connection-wise.
When you hit R0 there are two possibilities, the area server you're on crashed and you're about to crash, or your internet connection is gone to hell and you are about to disconnect (but with luck you can still salvage the connection after a while)
