Melee Limit Break seems to have a problem

So, i've been running a couple of Zelenia Extreme Fight and I noticed that the Melee DPS Limit break will always deal 999.999 DMG.

Aside the fact that it's kinda cool to actually hit a million point of damage, there is a huge problem. The damage cap.

Limit break are tied to the iLvl of the team, which means that LB3 should grow stronger. In fact it will remains 999.999 for a long time (Unless SE does something about it). When our iLvl will go up, our DPS will also, thus, lowering the value of the LB3 Melee over our actual rotation.

I suggest that Square Enix lift the damage limit of 999.999 for the rest of the expansion, as they will probably do a "Stat Squish" with 8.0

unless you mean there's a visual bug i've not seen yet.

I just tested this in Explorer Mode, in The Underkeep dungeon, as a Dragoon with a 745 weapon (from Zalenia Ex):

The striking dummy takes 1158534 damage.

That's 1,158,534 damage. So it seems like you are mistaken, unless the bug is specific, in a specific duty, in specific circumstances that SE did not consider, or unless the damage stated in the battle log is incorrect somehow.

In order to test if the damage received differs from the damage dealt (such as due to enemy mitigation), I switched it from "damage dealt" to "damage received by engaged enemies":

The result is 1,153,762 damage.

Limibreak having a damage cap seems odd, even in Shadowbringers it did 1.2 million in he last raid tier.

Specifically the average item level of the weapons of the party, not even all gear. I'd need to retest it but I believe this is true still.
