Prophecy Inspection Issue

I'm gonna head over to the Bug forum in a moment to report this, but I've been stuck loading the Prophecy Inspection CS when you wake up for the past half hour and I'm stuck on a Black Screen with a CS I cannot skip.

My question is, does any one know if the CS will automatically play if I force D/C and log back in, or, will I be able to re-watch this in my book in the inn? I'm a huge stickler for storyline and I don't want to miss out on a second of it. I'd rather stare at a black screen for a few hours than risk missing out on storyline.

I had the same problem. Did you try clicking your mouse? It seemed there was an invisible text box for me.

Thank you very much! I pressed just about every key on my keyboard, but didn't try clicking my mouse. That did the trick!

I had the same thing happen, but this didn't work for me, sadly.

I entered into a bank screen where it simply said, "... Anony?" in my chatbox. Clicking the screen wound not advance, hitting enter would not advance, and I could type into my chat log but couldn't send anything.

I left it like this for about 5 minutes before force-crashing, at which point I reloaded and the quest was nowhere in sight.

Frustrated.

I had the same problem and clicking the screen did nothing for me...I hope I did not miss out on the cs, I will try again later and see if it works.

You need to click on where your NPC dialogue box would be. For some reason it's invisible.

Hi Anony,

I had that happen on the previous Hildebrande quest with the "Wanted Poster":

I loaded up and found a black screen and clicked everywhere, tried opening up my Main Menu, or hitting ESC and nothing happened. I could've sworn I hit "ENTER" as well (but maybe not?)... so I forced crashed my game to get out. :(

I never got the Cinematic again for the next few days (~_~), so I threw away my Wanted Poster and reactivated the Quest (getting a New Poster). That did the trick to get the Cinematic to happen again. So you might want to try that.

This time, on Prophecy Inspection I got a black screen again, with nothing showing up, but I hit ENTER, and it continued on.

* BTW, for those that finished this quest (hilarious ending cinematic! :)), what do you do with the Unsealed Memorandum Item in your Inventory?

We don't have to go sleep in all 3 Cities like the last one right?
