M7N is incredible
I've been honestly kind of lamenting the state of current content difficulty lately, where my options are either content that's easy enough to probably clear in one pull first try (and fairly boring on reclears), or content that's hard enough to probably require multiple lockouts in party finder. There's really not been much for in-between content, something that you can realistically clear in one lockout but will actually take a chunk of that time.
The 3rd of the new Arcadion raids released this patch honestly scratched that itch like nothing else has in this game for me. It took my group more than half of the lockout! And not because of like, one or two people who just couldn't stay alive, but because our whole group was figuring out the fight and actually had to learn and improve over the course of it. I got to have an incredibly satisfying experience in beating something challenging (for me, at least) without having to spend hours in party finder.
My only real complaint is that the look-away mechanic was a bit confusing at first, because it looks like a normal look-away mechanic, and it's easy to accidentally solve that way, so it wasn't the most intuitive to figure out.
But otherwise I loved it! I'm super excited to come back next week and try to do better at it. The Arcadion fights have all been great, but this one is my favorite by a big margin. I really hope we see more like this going forward! Thank you for making this!

Just did M7 this evening. What a spectacular fight. This is the kind of "normal" raid experience I want to have. Everything about it was fantastic. It was very fun to figure out and took a lot more time than your average "pull and clear" (M8 lol) fights. Felt incredibly rewarding to beat. Imo this might be the best normal raid in the game for me - gameplay-wise of course. Thematically idk if anything can beat good ol Alexslamder. 10/10 on M7 SE more of this plz.

have seen a group that struggled in that fight. they needed over an hour. they said its annoying and frastrating.
but im like: 'thats exactly the kind of content i wanna have a lot more often'
now since i didnt really need closely as much time for any of these fights and since it will change over the next few weeks due to accumulated ilvl and experience it wont last long... but for now i enjoyed it very much.

I found the fight very disappointing. The visibility was obnoxiously bad and the mechanics were easy and uninspired, like 90% of the fight was just dynamo/chariot. I will give credit at least for failure being decently punishing.

I enjoyed it, and found it OK (But I think it's very overhyped), bit repetitive, but much of it is just lent to the fact that it does punish and deal quite a lot of damage.
I think, in a few weeks this fight will be nothing special.
I personally found M5 to be the most enjoyable.

The main issue I got is that it has a fat ass and when I'm behind the boss I can't really see which weapon is glowing when I don't get the bludgeoning/stabbing cast name.
Obviously have to turn my camera and such or have to position myself to see it, no biggie, but it caught me a couple times even though I know what to look for. I'm not sure how that will go in savage.
Otherwise, yeah, really great fight, loved how fast it felt and it's the kinda speed we want more of! It has faster sequential mechanics than EX1 of dawntrail... in a normal raid! Love that.

I was really worried about M7 because of everyone saying it was a nightmare. The newer faster pace of this tier isn't the best for reflexes and 40-year-old brain, but I committed last night to getting through it and did M5 and M6 ok.
Got to M7 and I don't know if I just got lucky but it was the easiest one? Barely any deaths from anyone, we breezed through the dang thing in one go and it was done faster than the previous two. After all the hype from it, I kind of was like "that is it?" I didn't even die once (which if you knew how I am in raids is a miracle in itself).
Funny enough, I couldn't complete M8 last night because the group kept wiping over and over. After the 8th wipe, I was a tad tired.

This one took me an hour, And m8n also took me an hour... Now l am done with the story. It is a good thing that l don't do savage, so l don't ever have to go back there again to farm gear

Love the fight, can't wait for Savage. Kinda sus that Brute Bomber lives at 9-11, we fight him twice and he blows up a building in the fight though. What did SE mean by this?

My group ran it blind on Tuesday and we didn't clear in 90 minutes, but we had solved all the mechanics - we were too tired to try again. We regrouped again last night and one shot it. And then cleared M8 in five pulls, because he's much more bog standard in terms of expectations.
It was FUN to be able to figure out the mechanics entirely on our own the whole raid tier on voice chat. I am the one that figured out "THE PLANTS ARE BEHEMOTH COMETS" and I went to bed satisfied.
Sure, now that we know the tricks it will be very very easy. But day one blind clears are the BEST.
