The final hours of 1.xx

I had a fun little idea that Square Enix could implement as the game's final 10 or so hours come into the game.

What with these airships flying above the city and all, it is weird that they haven't actually attacked the cities themselves. That is why I suggest as a count down celebration for the version 1.xx's final moments in this world, SE pour waves and waves of Garlean troops into the city. Of course there will a giant problem with not seeing them cause of Ul'dah, so for only those final moments, they allow free travel between city states.

There will be lots of death, it'll be confusing as hell, and maybe, just maybe it'll get people out of Ul'Dah for a couple of hours.

I see plenty of people outside Ul'dah already !
If Dalamud is falling on Eorzea, Garlemald would be stupid to launch an attack at this moment. They'd better fly away on their airships :P

Will there be looting? Because if there's looting, then sign me up.

Please PLEASE have them blast the RMT trains. Have them bombard the trains running to the leve desks and Cedarwood. I wish they kinda had ragdoll physics if this was to really happen XD.

This would be an awesome farewell to 1.xx.

This thread gets my stamp of approval.

It would be cool if they could have a dynamic type event, like the opening of Ahn'Qiraj in WoW, to usher off the end of the game before it shuts down, but I don't see it happening.

Yes yes, make the waves of monsters get harder as well as we get closer and closer to the last minutes, like in the last 20 minutes, make 60+ level mobs come down into the city!
