Can we not do these BLM changes, actually?

I am speaking as someone who does not even play high end content. I don't like these changes. Black Mage is the only caster I play anymore because it's the only one with some modicum of challenge to it. I don't know the ins and outs of rotations, I don't even typically comment on job changes that I don't like, but this feels almost sacreligious. You are taking a job renowned and loved for how difficult it is to manage and removing the difficulty of managing it. Why? Is there some secret plan to make every job boring so you can suddenly rework them all into new, unique directions after the dust has settled? Or are we just never going to get to have gameplay variety again? How long until RDM loses dualcast? Will Samurai lose its directionals next? Will they turn Living Dead into a basic invincibility skill?

I don't like complaining about this game. I loved DT, I abandoned Monk for its new changes but wasn't annoyed enough to complain, but come on. Is nothing sacred?
