BLM player base is why we can't have nice caster balance in FFXIV

I would gladly sacrifice all of Black Mage's damage to keep Endwalker's Black Mage rotation, hell even just locking it to where 7.1 Black Mage is right now. Let Machinist take Black Mage's spot, and put Black Mage at the bottom. I don't care about damage, or relative balance. I care about having a job that I enjoy playing and optimizing.

Not a single soul cares about damage numbers here. It's about the class actually being fun to play because it has the same nuance and depth that it currently does. Though, to be utterly frank, most of us want Endwalker Black Mage back. It was genuinely a perfect class.
