I'm currently loving the weather effect added in patch 1.23a. While I know this may be a small thing to many players, if more weather effects as wild and drastic as this are added, I think it would be a lovely addition for the games future. It obviously doesn't have to be every zone gets every effect hehe
I really just think this combination of meteorites + borealis is lovely. If in the future other varied weathers could be added and maybe even impact the zones they're in a little, it would be fantastic.
(with that said, I realise more important things are in the works, this just happened to be a nice little addition I want to compliment the team on, great work guys!)

The whole "end of the world" feeling has an a impact for me. Sometimes I like to pretend that the invasion aren't Garlean and are actually extra-terrestrial. That and the addition of meteor showers and auroras, not to forget Dalamud either, considering the setting of FFXIV, gives me a sense of surrealism.
It's like, something out of a scifi movie, I don't know. All I'm saying is, everything from the environment to the weather, is just absolutely amazing in FFXIV and I hope to see more extreme and beautiful effects in the future. -
