Adding grade XI and XII materia would be a start. Right now there is nothing useful you can buy except High Cordials.

ok that is actually really true and would be nice as hell

I really liked Island Sanctuary but I fully understand why it failed for most players. It's like how I dislike raiding in this game but understand some people really like it.
I think the biggest problem is it both felt like it didn't do anything exciting enough and seemed to pull a lot of dev focus so they didn't do anything else exciting during Endwalker. I hope they add future updates for it, but fully expect them to push it under the rug and try to make people forget it exists. Shame.
