lower item lvl entry into savage raid to tome gear. The reason new players dont..

Raid. The vets that have been playing to game for years sell entry level raid sets 20 million ++. While a new player coming out of MSQ that don't know how raiding works might be on 3million if they bought like no glams on their journey. The new player goes oh I guess ill just do roulette's to get money to do raid, he logs in one day does every roulette realize he makes 150,000 gil. Then the new players thinks if he does this 4 weeks then by all currencies(raid, capped tomes) combined with the market dropping too he will be able to start raiding. Once the fourth week hits he looks at party finder then now all he sees is re-clear watch hector guide, watch happy guide, 1 practice party 2 out of 8 members listed for 1 hour waiting already. The grown sprout goes why even bother now the ship has sailed. Some vet players would say oh what your looking for is a static go use some outside discord find people your skill level. Don't really want to commit to a time with people every week for real but guess it has to be done to beg for a chance to get gear. Oh wait your static too is only looking for range dps and heals crazy who saw this coming.

The game and vet players gate keeps new players from trying savage because to try savage on release you need full set crafted gear and vets sell crafted gear at 20million ++ the highest gil sink in the game more than mansion.

Fix: Pls move mandatory raid entry item lvl to repeatable tome gear. That way new players that want to savage raid can form their own parties if vets want to put a item level requirement of the craft gear in party finder they can do that too. I just want a chance to enjoy savage raid on release without all the problems stated above.

Side Note: Crafters your prices in the game has ruined the game I hope SE nerfs your margins into the ground.

I started this tier late and was able to clear it after about 2 months. What item level are you running on the job you want to raid with?

I think you should be able to buy a raid skip, with like 20 dollars for all the rewards, so that way this problem is solved and we can also commit to supporting our company to pass WoW in revenue and numbers.

bro no one wants to farm 20mill for a chance to raid week one as a new player. This not about skipping content its about getting to do content on time

lets be honest crafting your own gear is not easy(super time sink). I raised all my crafters and gathers farmed my orange scripts for both gathers and crafters to buy my aethersands and other mats. Dont get me started on how much materia you need for crafting gear and how much you can make in 1hour after you gather all the mats for it just to be lost to a 17% chance on the third meld. The whole time I did it all the hours spent I asked myself why am I doing all this crafting and gathering I dont like crafting and gathering. Oh yeah its just to get a chance to final start end game raiding on week one in party finder. All i wanted to do was play some of the hard content on time, and now i am here running around like a miner bot , using a source like team craft to get to spend multiple hours crafting scripts, and running a macro over and over again just to get materia for crafting gear because of i need to be able to craft battle gear on 7.2 just to get a party finder practice party on release. Its a crazy concept for a entry into savage raiding on week one for new people that just want to play the game (you know fighting hard bosses)

Is it really?

Crafting gear doesn’t need overmelds and the stuff to gather to make crafted gear can be obtained in around an hour or so

They even delay savage to give you the chance to do this

You should be expected to put in a modicum of effort to achieve entry into the games premiere raiding content

The week 1 crafted gear market(in my experience) is not at all what you describe. There are SO many omnicrafters competing against each other SO hard for those early sales that the market is lucky if it still holds value after a day or so. Whatever prices you see at server-up on day one are often down to 1/3 of that(or less) within 24 hours. You can do unlocks(grab an upgrade or two), cap tomes for another piece, get into the new extreme for a weapon upgrade, buy whats left the next day for a bargain and be looking for PF groups on wednesday(with 6 whole days to get those week one clears). And before you say you still cant afford it, gil is crazy easy to earn. Spend a night or two farming an extreme like hades or titania. Collect the crafting mats(desynthing extra weapons for extra chances). Easy money. Youve had 8 months to farm gil since the last savage tier released, it isnt like the game forces you to start from 0 on patch day. Hell, checking your 2 free retainers a few times a day and selling whatever actually good stuff they bring can passively add up to 10+mil per patch without requiring any actual gameplay.

And... unless im remembering wrong, the first floor or two of the savage dont actually have those higher requirements. Isnt M1 just 700 min? Meaning M5 would be 730, which you can get now? So yeah, starting your own group is also actually an option if youre feeling gatekept by the "veterans".
