request - original primal weapons for new classes?

pardon if this topic has been visited, the search function is sluggish. any shot for new classes (viper, etc..) getting some old primal weapon love? or feedback already given on the matter? i need flaming swords in my life.

Unfortunately, SE never has never done that in all the time the game has been running (since ARR). Same with earlier AF/relic is not expanded for new Jobs either sadly (a lot of that is because new Jobs start at a much higher level, usually 20 levels below the then current level cap) so SE probably regards adding Primal gear/AF/relic for new Jobs irrelevant (despite the obvious use for glamour). Sadly I don't see this changing.

What I would do for some more Shiva weapons.
Can't complete the Warrior of Ice theme without them. ;-;

But this also expands to all the ARR primals. They're all basic elements of the wheel. Wind, Earth, Fire, Water, Ice, Lightning, and Moogle. Your fundamental elements of life!
Considering how basic these are, they fit with many elemental type glamour sets and I feel should be given some extra love for new classes, imo.

They did do it before, though. When Stormblood came out, they launched the lv50 primal weapons for Samurai and so on..

On release of DSR, they also added Thordan's weapons for all classes up until EW, both normal and glowing versions.

I would love to see that happen especially with old ultimate weapons, I think as long as it's a small set of weapons that are added sqex should be able to make it happen. I would just be careful to note that it shouldn't be done for all content though, just extremes, savage, ultimates, and maybe tomestone gear.

Yeah nah, not gonna happen.
That would require going back and diong things to complete something.
And as we all know with the prime examples of Viera and Hroth they are not willing to do so.

They did in SB for SAM and RDM but stopped ever since ShB.
Sure they gave some out Thordan EX weps but only cause of TSR dropping.
They even did some of the missing glowing Trial weapons that didnt exist in EW.

But with how lazy and unwilling to put any effort into FFXIV since DT they became the chances of something like that happening again are basically zero.
We are still missing some glowing weapons from even MSQ trials in SHB and I am willing to bet we will never get glowing EW trial weapons.

i dunno. they definitely lurk the forums and take things into consideration. calling them outright lazy maybe isn't the most appealing approach lol. the forums have 100% impacted gameplay before. sending vibes <3333
