If you solve your own problem before anyone else can reply to your original post, it's best practice to leave the original post available and either reply to yourself with your solution or append your solution to the original post with a note ("Update: I fixed it by doing x.") because you're probably not the last person who'll have that problem and they might find your post in the future.
