Please restore Seraph and Kraken's world bonuses.

I first want to make clear that I understand the purpose of offering a bonus to preferred/new worlds and taking them away once they are filled so that people might be convinced to join other struggling populated worlds instead. And in theory this is a good idea! But in practice, it has only lead to Seraph/Kraken players transferring to other DCs or just dropping the Seraph/Kraken alt that they have entirely.

Dynamis is still noticeably less populated than any Aether or Crystal server. Despite that Seraph and Kraken have managed to maintain a steady population, the rest of the DC that they share has not. As a Kraken player, losing my bonus meant that the only benefit of playing on Kraken is housing -- my queues are slow, the marketboard is pretty empty, and content/rp is more popular elsewhere. The bonus was really most of what I was here for. Without it, I'm better off moving off Dynamis entirely and going to Aether, where I don't have to worry about trying to travel for rp/content, which I think is not good for the state of the DC.

It's true that a lot of Dynamis's struggle to maintain a population has to do with people constantly traveling elsewhere for queues and it's true that if players would simply stay in their DC then maybe Dynamis would thrive. But that's not what's happening, so it is up to the devs to herd players and create a system that encourages people to stay. So I would like to suggest restoring bonuses to Seraph and Kraken to do just that.

This doesn't make sense. The bonus will expire after 90 days on each character. That Kraken maintains the New World bonus does not matter for the individual that already received it. To solve the problem you are addressing, NW bonus would need to be taken away from all worlds to force players to stay.

Personally I wouldn't want that.

In my experience playing on Dynamis recently, I see lots of new players starting there. I meet them constantly in Mentor Roulette, the novice network and around the place and this isn't even on Kraken or Seraph.

I had never thought the benefit was that buff. It was either because of housing, because people wanted to get away from the congested data centers or because the game recommends it to them as a new player.

RPers are sometimes going there to avoid issues with people being unable to travel to the events, and PF or the novice network helps fill parties at busy hours.
