There a lot of stuff in FFXIV from movies like the enterprise and infinity and beyond or memes like Arrow to the knee. I have to say SE is doing a great job at adding small things like that, that only the fans of shows/movies would see them.

What the person above me said. I also saw one about the 'over 9000' meme, and a lot of quests are plays on names or books/movies or common phrases and slang terms.

Always loved the Matrix... and Agent Smith (including the Merovingian) were amoung my favourite characters. Now I feel like going back to check NPCs at random for more "movie-related" speeches

Also In Uldah one of the puppet type things gives the answer of 42 ... please tell me I'm not the only one who gets it (besides a few friends mine or my ls)
