Quest: Future Perfect

Hey guys I'm new to the game, currently enjoying it. I'm on the storyline quest future perfect. And it requires me to go to a camp in Mor Dhana (sp?). Anyhow, each path I tried to take have high lvl mobs who one shot me or kill me rather fast. I'm currently level 46 drg.

The first path I took was through the black shroud. Turns out the path I needed to take ended up to be underneath me and I couldn't find a way down, so I got chain pulled to death by a giant toad.

The second time I tried to get there from Coerthas, I was almost at the camp until some lvl 94 dragon type mob one shot me. There were two blocking the path from both sides.

I don't even understand why there are such high level mobs when the level cap is 50?

Anyhow, I'd appreciate some help, advice or even a port there. Because its rather frustrating to spend so much time running there only to die to mobs who I have no chance against.

Both Toads and Basilisks (Peiste is the Type) are sight aggro, you can run behind their backs.

What about the dragon mobs? Two literally blocked the way to the camp.

Part of it is sneakiness skill, the other part is luck. If you keep having trouble avoiding the mobs, get someone to teleport you.

Brings back the fun of half the quests in XI involving going through very dangerous areas where you will be killed on sight. Except in that game, you lose your levels. In this, you lose a couple minutes of time.

If it's the ones(Drakes?) I am thinking of you just want to walk past them (can use X to toggle walk on/off on keyboard) since they aggro only when you are running or on a mount.

Yeah those are called Rainbow Basilisks, they're Peiste type. Look like Snakes with legs. Salamanders and Drakes are different and are sound aggro.

You and I have different definitions of fun.

Although to be honest I prefer XI's version of danger. The penalty of losing your levels for messing up made it much more dreadful and exciting. In this you die you run back over and over.

Drakes aggro by sight.

I'll definitely try that when I attempt the quest again. Thanks for the tip. I really wish they told you these things in game though.
