Chaotic raid bonus time- How does the timer works?

Very straightforward question but: How does it work? Specifically- How does it activates?
Is there a weekly rotation? I've seen it activates at two different time since release. Does anyone have enough information about this? What did you saw on your own servers/datacenters?
It's pretty annoying to see the bonus being up at a certain time, let's say, 12PMST for 6 days in a row, then the next day, it's at a different time, on the same server, especially when it'll last for an undetermined amount of time. If there is a way to know when the timer will rotate, and if somebody figured it out, please share it (It's not about Demimateria distrubtion, only about the timer window)

I think I saw it mentioned that it lasts for bursts of 3 hours up to 12 hours, on random data centers, and the bonus isn't even guaranteed but rather a chance at the bonus. So you could go through all the trouble of caring about the bonus, just to get nothing anyways...

Oh I am aware of the wonky distribution of Demimateria unfortunately, I wish they could change that for the next Chaotic, it was more about the timer, when does it appears, what triggers it, if it's not at the same time everytime, then surely it must be a rotation? But how can we know when the next windows will be up? Because seeing it at a certain time for multiple day in a row, then at a different time the next day, it's pretty confusing
I only care about it because it increases chance of Dais/minion/haircut drop

There are two ways they might do these things:

A daily seed (programmers know what this is).

An excel table with pre-determined values that it rotates through or selects in a particularly way. There is one example with Island Sanctuary where they rotated through it in a pre-determined order that has already looped now (so we know what the values for the workshop will be months from now).

They rarely use true RNG in this game for things like this. They really like spreadsheets.

Hmmm so we'll likely get an answer on it after a few weeks, after seeing more bonus rotation to figure this out. Thank you for your answer! I think the only information we have now is the duration of the bonus, as it seems to last longer on certain servers from the same datacenter, but I don't know if it's triggered by low population of something else
