He's all alone down in Fake Amaurot, the only person there who's self-aware. Let us go talk to him! Make him a custom delivery NPC or give him a side quest where we help him travel around Norvrandt or take him to see the Watcher or take him to Ultima Thule or something! It's not fair to leave him alone down there. Please help him.
Eh, he's fine. If there's any way I can possibly describe Hythlodaeus, it's that he's terminally, perpetually 'fine', and has no greater emotional peaks or valleys than that. As a result he's kind of a terminally boring character when he's not delivering infodumps, but it also means he's probably doing pretty chill just sitting in a fake prop city.
(Metaphor ReFantazio has a way better Hythlodaeus, largely because of this.)
I really feel like we should have visited him again in the aftermath of Endwalker. There's a lot we should update him on.
