Applications or Invites

Just wondering if we have a status update on Alpha and Closed Beta participation? Are we going to have applications as we did in 1.0 Alpha and Closed Beta? Many people have probably updated their systems, experienced new Alpha and Beta so the information on the previous application would be void. Or can we expect invitations to be sent out based on a certain criteria and then randomized throughout the group which is in the final selections?

Just curious, it may not feel like it but the closing down of 1.0 is just around the corner!

By the sound of things it's probably going to be application based, with legacy members having a higher chance of getting into the beta.

Yoshi-P mentioned in an interview that Legacy members don't get special priority.

I would love to get more info on this kind of stuff as well but its rly something that we need to wait for Yoshi-P to say when the time comes lol. Still 2.0 is rly right around the corner indeed :O feels like only yesterday that i bought my CE lol and started 1.0. o.o Its almost time to play the new version!!! CANT WAIT~~~

I know right! I agree we may have to wait and I am assuming it is an application then invitation setup but a confirmation would be nice. No it won't change when it comes or how it comes but still excited to find out.

how did you get that out of that quote? what is says to me is that not everyone playing now will get into the beta, but they get priority over those who are not playing.

Legacy status does not indicate current players. I can see why he would come to that conclusion.
