Unable to initiate fishing leves

Hello. I'm trying to do the DT fishing levequests and they do not appear to be working correctly. Just to get it out of the way, the levequests for mining and botany are working fine. But when I accept a fishing leve I go to the required zone and there is no green circle on the map. If I click the quest it will pull up a map with the green circle but it never shows the Initiate button when I get there.

It's doing this on three different characters and in DT and EW, I haven't tried anywhere else. Is there something I'm missing?

Fishing leves work like Crafting leves. Get fish that you can normally get in the overworld, and turn them into the NPC. Or buy the fish from the market board and turn them in.

Thank you. But is my mind playing tricks on me? I swear I remember needing to initiate fishing leves.

Not that I am aware of. Possible you activated another type of leve right near where you needed to fish, then fished and just connected the two together.
