Ultimate for side story quest

It would be great to see the FF14 team introduce something like the Four Lords in ultimate content. There are many unique mechanics that could make the fight really fun. Just my thoughts.

I agree. While it's not impossible, it doesn't seem likely given how they have generally stuck to raid series/MSQ content for ultimates.

On the other hand, if this means we would have to get a Hildibrand ultimate, nevermind. I'd rather not

Honestly, I think the biggest hurtle that would need to be overcome when making an ultimate from a trial series is what weapon model to use as the base for the weapons as each trial, each boss has their own unique weapons. Four Lords might be kinda easy because they could skip the boss weapons, and use the 'Crimson Lotus' weapons that dropped from dungeons, and make them glow Arimatama red or something, but it might be satisfying because some of the weapons from the actual bosses do look kinda cool.

Crimson Lotus weapons share a model with Ruby Tide (Shisui) weapons, so that won't happen.

Four Lords would of been nice since I feel the reason the MSQ was skipped was because it's kinda hard to make a story around Shinryu since most of its buildup is in HW and then it's absent until the end of SB. Dunno what the story would be about... maybe Tenshin never died?

As for weapons, they could always take the TEA route and dazzle up a previous Eureka relic step.

Lets be real, most groups would never get passed the Julyan phase anyway.
