Stormcarrier or a Stormbringer?

If you turn in 1,000 crafted items to the Maelstrom, you are rewarded with the title "Stormcarrier". If you turn in 1,000 gathered items, you are rewarded with the title "Stormbringer".

There are two rings available for purchase with seals. Stormcarrier's Ring has gathering stats. Stormbringer's Ring has crafting stats.

So how about it? I'm a consummate gatherer, and my best friend is a non-stop crafter. Which one of us is the Stormcarrier, and which one of us is the Stormbringer?

(There might be similar issues with the other GCs, I haven't been able to check.)
