Launcher errors, 2002s, unable to connect...
First post, and sad to say it's one begging for some kinda explanation/confirmation. I've been having, over the last two days, errors where the launcher won't connect, IF it manages to it's an immediate 2002 on the title screen, or even better the error window saying "Revocation info for the security certificate is unavailable." NOTHING CHANGED from the last time i logged in (two days ago, Nov 26th) and yesterday having the problems (Nov 27th), so I spent 4 hours googling, troubleshooting, trying every fix i could find before the final step of troubleshooting was the only option left: uninstall and re-install. All the information i had was pointing towards it either being on SE's side, or on the ISP (East-link, yay eastern time zone Ontario), so in an effort to check both options at once, the uninstall was done. Now trying to re-install, and it keeps hitting the "Unable to download patch files." error. Without a VPN i can't even access the forums, let alone try to reinstall and need SOME kind of confirmation from either devs or anyone here what is causing the problem. My wife was able to connect to the game via VPN ONLY, which makes us think the ports our ISP are accessing are messed with somehow, and reddit threads are believing it's on the ISP side, but would like to see if anyone here is having the issue and can confirm as well.
Edit: Seems whatever it was is fixed.... although who knows how long. hopefully it was on ISP side and is all better now! I managed to finish re-installing and i've been logged in for a bit now to test.
