Please disaable experience point from CC ranked

As someone who take the "ranked" for competitive, I really hate having in my teams people who just queue ranked because it's fast to level their job, and doesn't know how to play it.

We don't need experience point in ranked. Keep it for causual stuff.

Players are mostly motivated by the Series Malmstone reward, leveling EXP is just a bonus.

Allowing players to change their jobs before leaving spawn, similar to Frontlines, could help address these issues, but it would also create new problems.

There is plenty of way to level up a job in FF. A competitive PVP should not be one, so you don't get people that just wants the quick queue. I've seen someone just using an emote in the spawn and never moving, just to get free xp in 1 minutes. That's broken and ruin the experience. I confronted that player and he was like "I don't care, that's fast leveling for me".

SE should fix that.

I feel that this is probably more to do with trolls than actual people trying to level up while gaining series xp. They can just use casual for this (and they do). By the way, this is reportable behavior, just remains to see if GMs actually do something about it.

I agree, I don't think adding exp to ranked matches is helpful.

I'm going back and forth on the question whether I'd like to see exp for casuals increased though since the exp you gain in the same time it takes to complete a dungeon is much lower iirc. As someone who vastly prefers PvP over dungeons I think this would be a benefit for those who take CC seriously. On the other hand it might decrease the quality of casual matches (even further) because it could attract more people who are just there for the exp and lead to a FL situation.

(As a middleground you could greatly improve the exp for the winning team compared to what we get now. I know we already have this win/lose exp system but if you increase the incentive to win even further it could make people (who come for the exp) care about performing well. Not sure if this could really combat the problem though.)

Having job EXP be in Ranked isn't helpful, but it is also not really detrimental because it is nowhere near enough to be a primary motivator. Even at max level, you gain relevant tomestones. I fail to see how much of an impact this has.

At lower ranks (pre-Platinum) switching jobs is reasonable assuming the players have a baseline understanding of what the job does. Using the existence of EXP rewards to cite a potential reason why specific teammates switching jobs causes problems is disingenuous, because the actual problem here is the lack of care and pre-existing ignorance/apathy to what lack of experience does.

At higher ranks (Plat+) it is generally not recommended to actively switch to jobs you are still practicing on, regardless of EXP or not.

TL;DR: Current amount of EXP in ranked is not a logical enough reasons why players underperform for playing off jobs, therefore it makes no sense to make further adjustments in either direction.

The problem is player etiquette and apathy.

Casual pops fast that I honestly cannot see how many people would queue ranked JUST for the exp unless they are intentionally griefing/trolling.

Also the exp gain is so negligible for the job like a quick FATE does more...you'd think they are grinding XP series.
