disable emote sounds

Heya readers,

First time posting here because I'm desperate..
Please for the love of everything in Eorzea, add an emote slider that disables the sounds of other people emoting.
I'm not talking about /cheer or /laugh or anything in that regard, I'm talking about /shakedrink and that kind of related sounds.

No matter where I go, people are shaking drinks whilst AFK and I'm seriously losing my mind.

So here is how I've always solved problems like this:

1. /systemconfig
2. Sound settings button (click it)
3. Scroll down to Player Effects Volume

Set Self to be what you want it at to hear your own grunts, but reduce the volume of others to be really low. My distribution is 75 / 26 / 26

On a separate note you can also adjust Performance settings there if you find bards annoying.

Blacklist them and it also solves the issue.

Someone that is AFKing in public while doing a loud annoying emote like /sweep or /shakedrink made this choice intentionally, so I'll have no problem with not ever seeing them again :D

Everyone knows stirred is better than shaken.

I honeslty think it was one of the worse decisions they ever made adding that. especially when people spam it so much. They ust made most likely rp venues a lot worse then they were before. I wouldn't know last venue i went to was like a year ago with a few friends to experience it

I don't think it's necessarily a bad idea to have it as an emote, but it doesn't make much sense to have it be persistent. They could have it end before the sound effect loops and I think it would be fine.

I used to do bartending in the game so this emote coming out is pretty cool and something I wish I had prior, but they definitely need to add a way to disable emote sounds without turning off every sound effect

at least now they have a somewhat better blacklist and mutelist

Just some sort of mutelist but for emotes
