Aethryte Tickets
i've noticed that this item up til now has been strictly locked too the grand company and hunt system in ARR(A Realm Reborn) and HW(Heavensward) but not continued to the newer expansions an i suppose this could be due to it being a precious resource to newer players and all that but it would also be a godsend for players at endgame as well who are more casual oriented.
an what i mean by that is players who do gathering, sightseeing, and gpose tend to travel alot to different places with in Eitherys(Hydaelyn) and i think it would be of good benefit to them. cause typically these are the bottom line who just login maybe once daily or twice a week
so my request here would to expand this item to the newer hunt vendors as well starting with Shadowbringer's hunt Clan and continueing up to the latest Tural hunter clan which all utilize the newest exchange currency "sacks of nuts"

Or just do all the Hunts and not just the most recent expansions' ones, and turn in all that junk gear your retainers bring back at your Grand Company. You'll soon have enough currency for aetheryte tokens.

It's because the hunt currencies from ARR, HW, and StB are obsolete yet still obtainable while the hunts are something you can frequently do (and have achievements tied behind them). Bear in mind that the gil cost of teleports is an anti-inflation measure in the game so the devs will likely never make aetherite tickets something that's any easier to obtain than they already are. Free teleports can be seen as an incentive to do the older, less frequently farmed content.

Here's what I do to get Aetheryte Tickets:
Pickup my weekly ARR hunt bill.
Pickup my weekly HW hunt bill.
Pickup my weekly SB hunt bill.
Kill them, then spend at my Grand Company and at Foundation for more than enough Aetheryte Tickets for the week. It's only not enough if you're actually teleporting a lot which is usually due to hunting a lot (ie. farming hunt trains or S ranks) in which case you will probably need to get a bunch of ARR, HW or SB S ranks or do SB hunt trains.
It would be nice if they could be got with Sacks of Nuts but it's not like we can't get them with the older currencies.

Honestly I think a huge QoL to this would simply make the hunt UI we have actually contain hunt related content, like this.. and then let us refresh our log without having to visit every dang city lol. Make it cost a venture token if you want (to refresh hunts in your list without needing to visit the city). Although my 'immersive gameplay' side of me would say, add that dang moogle flute I asked for in 1.0 and then unlock the feature to refresh each expansion's list by spending that expansion's hunt currency to provide your flute moogle an upgrade.
Also you can do BLU content for some easy teleport tickets, if you need them ASAP.
-
If you do weekly Masked Carnival challenges with BLU, you'll have more Aetheryte Tickets than you'll know what to do with and if you are max level with a near completed spellbook, it'll be quick and easy.

there is too much gil in the game so it needs gil sinks... its a microtransaction... yes we have that in ff14 too

You can casually stock up on Tickets with Blue Mage. It's insane. I haven't done them since DT launched and I still have 1600.
-
thank you all for the replies and suggestions but to my main point i'm just asking the devs if they could add them to the other hunt clan vendors as well ^^ i don't think thats an unreasonable demand to make.
and i am aware they are trying to reduce the amount of gil players have saved up but as in my original post i'm not referring to players that are able to sink hours into the game but rather players who can't fully commit to things like hunt trains, all of blue mage content (its fun stuff don't get me wrong but trying to find parties for it can be difficult at times.) and be able to max out every crafter to make big bucks etc.

If you think it takes a long time and parties to get Blue Mage to the point where you can complete the weekly challenges, you either haven't actually tried it or you aren't doing it right.
